Dear Parents, Students and Families of Meadow View Elementary School,
My name is Cheryl Twigger and I am extremely excited and honored to be joining the Meadow View community as your principal. I have been an educator for 21 years and have loved every minute of it! I started as a Kindergarten teacher in Iredell County and have since worked in Guilford and Carteret Counties before coming to Onslow County 7 years ago. I am an elementary teacher at heart and have had the privilege of teaching all grades, kindergarten through fifth grade.
I am married to a former Marine, who now serves as a K9 officer at Camp Lejeune. We are the proud parents of one son, who starts high school this year! I have three fur babies, a 110lb Bernedoodle named Gunner, a Bernese Mountain dog named Lucy, and Scout, an eight-pound Maltipoo.
I look forward to our year together! It is an absolute honor to be a part of your child's educational journey.
